Show your support for Aung San Suu Kyi and commemorate the 19th anniversary of Burma's last election by attending a rally on May 27th at Martin Place.

Last week the Burmese military regime placed Aung San Suu Kyi on trial for breaking the conditions of her illegal house arrest, if found guilty she faces up to five years in Insein prison.

On May 27th, 1990 a national election was held in Burma and Aung San Suu Kyi's National League for Democracy won over 82 per cent of the seats in parliament. The military refused to hand over power.

Join the rally and demand more action on Burma by the Australian government.
