Burma’s future and Australia’s role - Public Forum

22 July 2009

Expert panelists will discuss Australia’s role in supporting peace, democracy and freedom in Burma and explore avenues the ALP can take to support urgently needed change in Burma. This forum is open to the public.

Date: August 1st, 2009

Time: 12.30 - 2 pm

Venue: South Steyne Floating Restaurant and Function Centre, Cockle Bay, Darling Harbour, Sydney

Speakers: Dr Sean Turnell, Macquarie University, and Alison Tate, Australian Council of Trade Unions

This forum is open to the public and is a free event. It is part of the Fringe Program of the 45th national Australian Labor Party Conference.

This event is organized by Burma Campaign Australia.
