1 June 2010: Muslim Aid Australia statement on the assault on the humanitarian aid vessel MaviMarmara.
Muslim Aid Australia's statement is prefaced by the understanding that our organisation was not represented on board the Mavi Marmara. We therefore cannot claim to know every detail of what transpired when Israeli commandos
assaulted the Turkish ferry on 30 May 2010. Nevertheless, several facts about what occurred are well known and need
to be restated in the interests of human decency.
