Vale Dorothy Ingram

Staff, overseas partners and friends of Union Aid Abroad–APHEDA were saddened to hear of the death of long-time APHEDA staff member Dorothy Ingram on Wednesday 6th July.

Dorothy had worked at Union Aid Abroad-APHEDA for 21 years, from February 1985 until January 2006, when she retired. She was APHEDA's first paid staff member - beginning work just 10 months after the organisation began.

Dorothy was well-known and loved by many of the supporters of Union Aid Abroad-APHEDA. As the Senior Administration Manager, Dorothy was noted for her cheerful nature, her wise advice, and her cryptic wit.

Dorothy was 78 years old, and will be sadly missed by many friends and all of her former workmates. Our thoughts and condolences go out to Dorothy's family.
