Continuing support for the Cuban Children's Hospital

The Maritime Union of Australia (MUA) raised $70,000 from among their membership, and this, combined with donations from other individuals, covered the cost of an anaesthetist machine, which was $108,000.

Recently a very generous bequest of $100,000 was left to the Cuban Children's Fund by the late James Mitsos. The Cuban Children's Fund and Union Aid Abroad - APHEDA are consulting with the William Solar Children's Hospital regarding their next priority for equipment for the hospital.
