You are invited to join us for a discussion on how Pacific workers are organising for social justice and fair incomes. The event is being co-hosted by Union Aid Abroad-APHEDA, United Workers Union, Uniting Church Synod and the Sydney Alliance.

The keynote speaker will be Saina Tomi Setu, Senior Organiser of the Samoa First Union. Saina is one of the only women union leaders in the Pacific, leading Samoa’s only private sector union. For over a decade, she has been fighting for dignity at work for her members in Samoa and those in Australia as part of the seasonal workers program.

You will be invited to share your story too. Together we will discuss how churches, unions and communities can work toward the common good in Sydney, Australia and the Pacific. All with an interest are welcome.

5.30pm arrival for a 6pm start. Refreshments will be provided during this time. Formal proceedings will run from 6-7.30pm.

Location: The Centre For Ministry, 16 Masons Dr, North Parramatta.
