Safe Development Cannot Include Asbestos
Union Aid Abroad – APHEDA is calling on the Asian Development Bank to update the Safeguard Policy Statement to include all asbestos products as prohibited investment activities.
Fiji Appeal
APHEDA will work with the Fiji Congress of Trade Unions to help people in affected communities to rebuild their homes, working with the local sugar and teachers’ unions. Fiji unions have established a fund to support people rebuild homes destroyed by the cyclone.
