On May 28, the SA Annual Terri Daktyl APHEDA Dinner once again raised more than $6,000 of much needed funds for APHEDA projects in Vietnam in an evening of face to face fun and delicious food.

Around 120 APHEDA members and supporters packed the Vietnam Sunrise Restaurant, and there watched a video message direct from Hanoi from Country Manager Hang who spoke about the work of APHEDA in Vietnam, including the successful women’s leadership program which was the target project for this year’s event.

Highlights of the dinner included hilarious auctioneer Ian Steel, a raffle with 14 prizes and a rousing chorus of solidarity forever.

It was a wonderful evening for comrades to once again gather for a good cause following the isolation of last year.

Thank you to all who attended and the amazing SA APHEDA activist group who organised the evening.
